Negotiated a project facility of US$ 5.00 Million with Equator Bank , a subsidiary of HSBC.Played the key role on Behalf of the Hagura Mining Limited with the consultants and the team of Lawyers for negotiating with the Zambia Privatisation Agency ( Zpa ) Negotiating Team the price for buying the majority shareholding from the start to finish. Finally, Hagura Mining bought the Majority shareholding at a very reasonable price from the Zpa. It required a continuous interaction with various professionals, Lawyers & Government Officials from valuation of the company to the buying off of 42% additional stake culminating in the signing of the Sales & Purchase Agreement on 18th May, 2001. Worked as Head Finance, Accounts & Adminstration with a Travel Group ( L W Travel Limited ) having the Thomas Cook Agency in Lusaka, Zambia, a subsidiary of Industrial Distributors Ltd. It had five Branches in the country and was the prominent Travel Agency in the country.

I started with the Accounts department and then moved to Finance. Last I was working in Finance. My responsibilities to raise funds from Public Deposits and coordinate the funding from the Consortium of banks - Lead banker : State Bank of PatialaFixed Deposits Directly from Depositors and through a Network of Agents throughout Northern India. At Peak we could mobilize upto Twenty Million Rupees in a month.

Part of the CA Training I did at SRF Ltd at their Express Building Corporate Office at Delhi. Gained valuable experience in corporate culture and Accounting. Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Accounts Closing. I was groomed here to work in the corporate world.
