Cara Koch is a IT Specialist at SBA Disaster PDC. Colleagues describe her as "Cara Koch was hired as an Information Technology Specialist at the SBA Disaster's Processing & Disbursement Center at the onset of Hurricane Katrina-R-W. Fortunately for us, she still works here. Cara, along with 5 associates was responsible for providing IT support for over a thousand employees working multiple shifts in a frantic ever changing and expanding disaster hurried environment. Her excellent written and verbal communication skills earned her the respect of her fellow IT Help Desk employees, IT management and the end users alike. She quickly became one of the "go to techs" that end users would call because of her exceptional technical problem resolution skills and above average people skills. Cara is one of the most determined and focused employees that I have had the pleasure to manage. She has only been with the agency for just over two years and she is already developing, enhancing and maintaining strategic mission critical business applications at the PDC along with her end user support responsibilities.
