Develops, directs, and implements the management system to ensure compliance to ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 14001. • Manages the internal audit schedule, performs audits per schedule, and reports status to the rest of the management team;• Manages the Corrective Action and Preventative Action system (CAPA) assuring actions taken are appropriate, timely, and effective;• Maintains all management system documentation (quality manual, procedures, work instructions, forms, and standard work documents) to assure they meet the requirements of the management system and ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14001, regulatory/statutory requirements, customer standards, and other standards as required;• Serves as the management representative and communicates the status of the performance of the management system to the rest of the management team;• Acts as liaison for third-party audits on the management system from regulatory agencies and customers;• Advises other company managers about the management system requirements and established standards;• Works with the rest of the management team to set strategic direction for quality initiatives; • Leads efforts to ensure all employees understand CIT’s management system;• Provides technical input for company-wide training program focused on quality subject matter; • Ensures company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all department functions as they relate to the management system;• Serves as the Export Compliance Coordinator by: * Overseeing the administration and documentation of export compliance training for all company employees; * Conducting internal audits on the organization’s compliance to U.S export/import regulations;• Serves as the internal point of contact for customer-driven compliance-related requirements and coordinates actions associated with satisfying those requirements.
