As the Senior Program Manager for ACADI, I lead strategic initiatives in alignment with the Centre’s mission to improve the lives of people living with diabetes by:• accelerating research translation, innovation, and commercialisation• advancing interventions in diabetes diagnosis, prevention, and treatment• supporting the next generation of leaders in diabetes research With over 70 clinical, research, industry, and community partnerships nationwide, I spearhead operational management, stakeholder engagement, and business development efforts to drive ACADI's business sustainability. Leveraging my expertise in project management and strategic planning, I collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance ACADI's outreach, foster growth opportunities, and ensure long-term viability. Additionally, I provide executive oversight for the ACADI Council and advisory groups, lead ACADI's outreach activities, and mentor staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment within the organisation.

As a member of the Board appointed Community Advisory Committee (CAC) at Women's Hospital, I contribute to ensuring diverse perspectives are integrated into hospital decision-making processes, advocating for improved outcomes for patients and their families. Collaborating closely with hospital leadership, I provide advice on new initiatives and programs, striving to promote exceptional experiences and effective consumer partnering. Your Fertility provides facts about fertility. We focus on modifiable lifestyle factors to improve fertility, the chances of getting pregnant and giving babies the best possible start in life.

The Women's Health SIG aims to influence policy development to advance women's health and the public health research that informs policy and programs. We promote understanding of the social model of health and how gender determines health. Using human rights and feminist approaches, we advocate for improving women's health in Australia, as well as working to promote women's health globally, often with other PHAA SIGs. A feminist and human rights approach recognises that women may experience injustice based on their sex/gender, and that these injustices may also occur on a systemic level through public policy processes.

I thoroughly enjoyed my years teaching in the Physiotherapy, Science, Biomedicine, Medical and Neuroscience courses at the University of Melbourne.
