Managed a team of learning experience designers to design and deliver comprehensive learning programs to enable Amazon global security policies. Responsibilities included the design and implementation of a project management process to provide the mechanisms for rapid development and global scale. Participated in the Women’s Leadership and Men as Allies train the trainer program and facilitated training for Global Security leadership.

I recruited, developed, and managed the instructional design team (8 internal business consultants). Here, I designed and deployed 125+ new programs during tenure for a global audience of 10,000+. I also oversaw the creation of blended learning programs and set measurable goals for employees, partners, and customers. I adjusted delivery methods to scale to a rapidly growing global audience using learning management systems, CRM systems, web portals, social media, virtual meeting tools, streaming video, and mobile applications. Learning programs included software simulations, online courses, interactive assessments, job aids, technical documentation, surveys, short videos, study guides, and 3D models.I defined a brand for the L&D Team by creating a corporate university: Vertiv University. Branding enabled cohesive learner experience, program growth, and marketing opportunities. To accommodate change following ongoing M&A activity, I hired and trained new talent and achieved a high retention rate by supporting the team with necessary tools and strategy. I created a stable department; set clear program goals for stand-alone programs. I oversaw all online training tools (LMS, LCMS, web-conferencing tools, social community) to improve processes, automate administration, and increase efficiency. I aligned language, cultural, and regulatory considerations for training materials for global audiences. I grew operations from a team of 2 and one domestic product to 8 business consultants and overseeing 6 product lines, globally. We completed all programs under budget.Recent Programs: I designed a new Continuing Education program for customers ($5K annual budget). We reached ~2,000 learners/users per year, achieving brand loyalty with key industry topics and product knowledge. I implemented multiple learning management systems (LMS) on time and under budget. I designed and deployed full-featured learning ecosystem with an 80% cost savings over previous tools.

I was the primary developer and administrator for computer and web-based product training for the Enterprise Network Division, with 6 different learning teams and a global audience of 10,000+. I oversaw the design, branding, and maintenance of ADTRAN University, the training portion of the ADTRAN website. Here, I managed web-based training events and multiple custom training portals for a channel of product resellers. I also implemented an Enterprise class LMS in six weeks to over 10,000 external learners. I developed the ADTRAN Learning Network, an online corporate training resource and a council of the 6 learning teams, to share best practices in training delivery and administration. In partnership with corporate marketing, I strengthened ADTRAN University brand by designing a consistent look and feel for all training collateral student guides, certificates, and brochures. I maximized efficiency by coordinating standards for content and administration. I steered the corporate redesign of website, working with art director to improve the interface.I trained the partner channel that sold products; as a result, I laid the foundation for sales increase up to 60%.

Provided multimedia design for the Training & Concepts Division including the following: computer based training, web based training, interface design, display graphics, video editing, flash development, and storyboarding. Also supplied programming and content creation to website development. Co-developer of a key project management utility named Quality View. Quality View provided project control via a website for our training team and customers. It allowed customers to post issues specific to their project, browse through an image library, and preview their status before final versions. This tool permitted endless functionality and adaptability. Quality View has been adopted for the use in computer-based training, document management, web-based training, website development, video production, and the creation of internal promotional material.

Performed graphics, video and interface design for computer based training products in multiple languages. Customers included, Mercedes, Honda, Chrysler, Tennant, New Holland, and Saab. Also was a valued member of the Sigmainteractive web design team responsible for instructional design, graphic preparation and programming, on all web based training.
