I contribute to a variety of stages in the design process, from initial concept to construction administration. I have experience in healthcare (government and private sector), public safety, entertainment, and corporate office project types. I am extremely detail-oriented with construction documentation and submittals, and am responsible for all interior sheets of the drawing set. Other responsibilities include organization of collaborative meetings with clients, as well as presentation of finishes and furniture to clients. I have experience with furniture packages and installation/punch lists. Construction administration conflict resolution is a daily task. I am also the President of our Culture Committee, whose responsibilities include organizing and delegating leadership for all social and charitable events within the office.

Manhattan, Kansas

Katalyst Group started their Manhattan, Kansas, design firm by offering internship positions to students from the Interior Architecture program at Kansas State. They have grown and relocated to Kansas City with full-time designers. I was one of their first interns, and I gained valuable experience with design development, construction documentation, and coordination of furniture and artwork. I assisted with the design and installation of local projects, including the Katalyst office remodel and Vision Source Optometry in Wamego, Kansas.

As a corporate office intern, I focused on residential design with both new construction and renovation project types. I assisted with construction administration and AutoCAD documentation, as well as site visits and client/contractor coordination.
