Establishing the purpose of the website based upon its target audience.− Converting Photoshop files into working web pages utilising HTML5, CSS3, SASS and JavaScripttechnologies.− Writing programming code, either from scratch or adapting existing software, to meet business requirements.− Creating high quality websites that are user-friendly, effective and appealing.− Producing, modifying and maintaining websites and web applications.− Attending client meetings and representing the company in order to clarify their needs and expectations on current or new projects.− Attend internal staff meetings and training courses as required.− Help with the development of web site specifications, identifying target audiences, determining the type of content that may be required, determining functionality that a site must support and providing advice and guidance on the most cost-effective and efficient solutions.− Keeping up-to-date with advances in web technologies and how this affects the business environment.− Be responsible for database schema design, maintenance and implementation.− Ensure testing of all code is carried out before deployment, testing plans are adhered to and browser testing is completed as needed− Being responsible for and helping with the deployment of web sites and applications.− Developing and maintaining the front end and backend functionality of existing customer websites.− Ensuring all code conforms to the current web standards and protocols.
