Building a successful, high-performing carbon fibre production plant is difficult in what is a notoriously disjointed and complex machinery supply market, served by a large number of OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and consultants.With no real industry standardisation, it is common to find fibre processing lines made up of equipment from several different OEMs. This might be the most up-to-date and technologically advanced equipment the market has to offer, but if it hasn’t been correctly specified, installed or integrated with other machinery, it cannot be operating at optimum levels in terms of quality or output. In many cases, this is because there has been no exchange of vital technical information between equipment suppliers – who are often also competitors.Cygnet Texkimp is independent from the OEM market, so while we will specify the right equipment based on our customer’s needs from a range of suppliers, the advice we offer is impartial and based on many years’ experience of designing, building, installing and commissioning carbon fibre lines.We offer a single point of contact from initial enquiry to final handover of the working line. All technical and engineering design is carried out by our own team of designers, and projects are directed by our carbon fibre specialists. We provide advice and guidance at every stage of delivery, with our customer’s interests in mind at all times.
