I have spent over twenty years of my professional life serving the public in capacities across the organizational spectrum. From administration to management, marketing and education, my experience has shown me the power of what a people driven organization can achieve. I have worked collaboratively with teams to provide the best service experience possible both internally and externally. This starts with forming partnerships rather than hierarchies and delivers proven results that benefit who we serve. Here are some of my key accomplishments:*-Provided Supervision, Leadership & mentorship to teams of up to 12 employees.Throughout my career, I have been part of the hiring, growth and development, and termination processes across multiple roles for all levels of staff. I excel at working one on one to coach and develop both technical skills as well as business and personal development. I have been responsible for building a brand that has a consistent visual image as well as establishing a brand culture that is guest centered and focuses on consistency. *-Developed and implemented a new business strategy to save a small business at the height of COVID-19.In June of 2020, the Governor of Washington ordered businesses in many industries, including salons, to reopen. In coordination with the owner, I designed new procedures and protocols to follow the directives of the Washington State Department of Health as well as address the safety concerns of both staff and guests. I deftly balanced authenticity and transparency in connecting with guests through in-person and digital marketing strategies. It was necessary that factual information was conveyed while also acknowledging the emotional weight of what we were all going through together. These efforts resulted in an approximately 5% increase in revenue from 2019 to 2020. *-Balanced multiple roles and responsibilities across the business spectrum to contribute to growth.I have been trained in nearly every aspect of running a business. My ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to new information and roles has allowed me to consistently access new opportunities. I was able to utilize those skills in my position at Vann Studio and pivoted to the Site Director role at Peer Seattle based on my desire to take on new challenges and my proven ability to get results. This requires a great deal of skill in prioritization as well as multi-tasking.
