A brief bit of work experience understanding basic banking transactions of a local high street branch. I was responsible for sending E-mails and Fax's to small business clients, as well as interacting with customers who had minor issues with their accounts. I feel this experience gave me a brief insight into how retail banking is organised, how IT systems are used to augment transactions and data management, and also the importance of customer service.
