I have spent more than six years in the Recruitment Industry as a Recruitment Consultant specializing in Executive, mid-level to senior-level roles across different fields, with a greater focus on talents in engineering across Chemical, FMCG, Process Automation, life sciences, medical devices, Engineering consultant construction, semiconductor, and electronics etc.. I acquired skill sets from career consultancy to talents in different employment markets and advising job seekers and companies on effective interviewing techniques. At e2i, I am a Career Coach guiding job seekers from all walks of life, in making informed career development plans as well as preparing them to be industry-ready. I work hand in hand with industry partners to bring training and career opportunities for job seekers and similarly partner employers to recommend candidates of the right fit. I also mentor new coaches and ensure that they are equipped with the right methodologies to coach clients effectively. Having been through a mid-career switch, I can empathize with the uncertainty experienced by jobseekers. I would guide them in identifying their career interests and direction and steer them toward the acquisition of employability skills. At the same time, I encourage them to be resilient and to keep an open mind throughout their career journey. With a good sense of jobseekers’ needs, I started e2i’s Career Transformation (Career and Skill Advisory) series by partnering with industry practitioners to help individuals on how to switch their careers in the growing tech sector.
