After starting at Paelon Memorial Hospital as the Quality Improvement Officer I focused on improving incident reporting and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements. I organized over 70 once-a-week clinical meetings and scheduled training sessions that reshaped how we provide care to patients. I also carried out audits, which increased regulatory compliance by 30%, setting a basis for a safer clinical environment.Currently, at Duchess, my objective is more defined than before. I introduced a fall prevention initiative which led to a decrease of 20% in patient falls within half a year. By promoting communication via newsletters to our staff members I have made sure that safety continues to be a priority in our day-to-day activities.
