• Opening of shipment files• Analyzing files• Follow up on documents necessary for customs and missing documents• Check outstanding charges such as VAT and duties due to depot• Updating of shipments/files on mainframe for tracking and forward paperwork on to entry clerks

• Sample tracking – manage database • Managing of samples department• Manage shipping documentation • Coordinate duties payable on express shipments• GRV of goods within the company received• Costing of shipments: Calculate the cheapest and most effective option to send and receive international parcels.• Issue invoice for merchandisers if parcels needs sending overseas.• Arranging with overseas suppliers for shipments to be picked up.• Arranging international Imports and Exports from and to Johannesburg and also from and to the Cape Town branch in terms of international suppliers. • Calculating the cost for the couriers and checking records to see if we are correctly billed on the monthly invoice from the couriers for International Imports and Exports.
