Works across multiple international regions to direct the many moving parts involved in organizing global conferences to ensure all events, both online and in-person, are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high quality. Identify and prioritize multiple events within a calendar year. Create an event work plan to include site surveys, timelines, meal planning, material dissemination and job assignments. Works with Executive Team and Board of Directors to create event execution budgets. Manage and maintain the global calendar of events to ensure sufficient spacing between events to avoid clashes with Executive Team travel. Calculate travel expenses from each region to aid in reimbursement estimates. Design and manage the registration process, and reports. Manage the interpretation and translation services for all events. Manage the third-party AV team on site during the event. Plan logistics and manage sign-up process for any related field trips. Works cross departmentally to create invitations and distribution lists tailored for each event and region. Manages all event related team, consultants, vendors and stakeholders.

As the Lead Event Designer for Caressed By Design I am responsible for the event planning, design, budget construction and production of each event while managing all project delivery elements within time and budget limits. Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals. Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc. Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations. Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities. Work in-tandem with marketing and PR teams to promote and publicize event if necessary. Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems prior to and on the event day. Conduct pre/post – event evaluations and report on outcomes.

Provide direction and focus to all lifestyle components of the community designed to enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy of the community for residents. Provides staff support and guidance to the Community Manager, to the Association Board of Directors and other team departments as necessary. Provide staff direction on event development, management and its relation to program development, delivery, and budget goals.

Builds comprehensive fundraising programs and practices that result in increased funds. Create, maintain and manage donor and grantor database. Expands existing base of supporters to increase revenue and plays a key role in developing and writing grant proposals. Manages annual fundraising and development plans, all direct mail and online annual appeal campaigns. Strategically develop and execute plans to cultivate and steward current donors through face to face meetings in the field. Manages agency’s chosen donor software. Works with Executive Director, Board, and Program Coordinators as a community liaison.
