I provide a variety of HR consulting services including interim and ongoing HR leadership, HR gap assessments, CEO performance assessments, workplace investigations and HR advisory services to customers in multiple industries. Selected consulting highlights include:• For INNOVA Global (formerly ATCO Emissions), I supported leaders and staff in Canada and the U.S. and provided backup support for the VP of HR. I take a hands-on approach to supporting client groups and advised leaders on a wide range of people issues. Working in step with INNOVA's senior leaders, I developed and executed people initiatives including acquisition due diligence, HR program and policy communication and implementation, workplace legal issues, compliance reporting, performance management and staff restructuring on both sides of the border.• For Legal Education Society of Alberta, collaborated with Board members and senior leaders and spearheaded the successful effort to recruit and select a new Executive Director.• For Kayden Industries, led the HR function in Canada and the US, and provided coaching and guidance to the Kayden executive team and department managers on HR strategy, employee relations, workforce planning, workplace legal issues, performance management, recruitment and compensation. Developed and executed the HR due diligence process and employee communication for the successful sale of the company to a private equity firm.

Saxon is an international oil and gas drilling company based. I led a team of HR Business Partners, advised department managers on strategic and day-to-day issues such as employee relations, workforce planning, workplace legal issues, performance management, immigration, recruitment and compensation. I travelled to Central and South America to collaborate with local HR and Operations staff on corporate initiatives.

Baker Hughes is a global oilfield service company. I led and mentored a team of HR business partners supporting over 1200 staff across multiple operating divisions across Canada. Our team ensured consistency of HR practices across divisions, which encompassed advising managers and staff on workforce planning, workplace legal issues, performance management, immigration, employee relations, compliance, recruitment/selection and compensation. I was appointed as interim HR Director for the Canada Region after the incumbent resigned and assisted the company during challenging economic conditions by taking on the dual role of HR Director/HR Manager, leading a team of 10.
