Using the automation skills I have obtained along with the deep understanding of assay development, I led a team to tackle the screening of a backlog of thousands of untested lipids in vivo using automation to make it high-throughput, and barcoded mRNAs to reduce the number of animals per study. The process successfully automated the formulation of lipid nanoparticles, biophysical and analytical tests, as well as all downstream processing of the animals from tissue processing to sequence data analysis while being fully integrated with complete traceability through the electronic notebook system. -Lead the screening technologies and development platform for the LNP Discovery group with four direct reports. -Developed and streamlined a high throughput fully automated barcoded screening platform to determine biodistribution and analytical analysis of novel lipid nanoparticles. Led the liver support studies group formulating all LNPs from research to IND enabling studies. -Formulation lead scientist for external collaborations working with different departments and companies to complete large scale studies.

I was the lead process engineer to move the first on market product for Inscripta from development into manufacturing. Working closely with development, manufacturing, and operations we successfully transferred the manufacturing of the customizable oligonucleotides in a fully automated format with proper QC and analytical controls.
