Duran HCP also offered an intensive in-class sourcer training program and then placed participants as contract sourcers/recruiters. The program focused on technical sourcing and recruiting, setting candidate expectations, role plays and practice calls, HR best practices, US work authorization status, compensation, working with hiring managers and specific techniques for sourcing candidates (Boolean searches, profile research, email, screening calls, list directories, diversity sourcing, networking options, internal referrals). The program was an excellent bridge from my marketing experience to recruiting and sourcing and helped me land my first contract recruiting role.
