Senior Supply Buyer
Current• Oversee and provide guidance to all Junior staff in the Purchasing and Inventory Control Departments• Maintain responsibility for monitoring/creating purchase requisitions, on a daily basis, for appropriate vendors, and converting requisitions to purchase orders• Support and provide the coordination of the material planning, purchasing and production scheduling function to ensure timely delivery to customers of finished products• Confirm supplier delivery dates for purchasing material and expedite orders when necessary• Assist in all aspects of production scheduling, working with manufacturing and business partners from OCD, raw material purchasing• Interface with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers in order to schedule purchase orders of raw material to meet production demand Product and service design• Purchase finished goods from outside suppliers in accordance to customer orders required dates• Ensure compliance with the company's Purchasing Policies and Procedures, Code of Ethics, Values and adherence to relevant laws and regulations• Regularly perform general inventory & risk management analysis• Supplier relationship management
