Conceptualize, develop curriculum for, manage, and instruct courses for students in the US and China for Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education under the auspices of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University – Technologies Changing the World, Design Thinking into Action, Teen Wellbeing, and the US-China Co-Lab on Climate Solutions. Coordinate with Stanford scholars and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs in live discussions with students in virtual classrooms, and collaborate with advisors to recruit student applicants and complete full program cycle.

Envisioned initial concept and built startup into operational, globally scalable, web-based service; conducted R&D and competitive analysis; hired key developers and collaborated with co-founders and engineers to iterate quickly; created team of technology, financial, marketing, business, and legal advisors; raised capital to design, develop, and approach MVP threshold and scale for mainstream integration. Integrated user feedback and behavioral design into iOS app (in development). Responsible for product vision, social marketing and branding, strategic partnerships, and company communications.

Primary author of "Sustainable Development and Modern China," Stanford University, 2013, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary SPICE unit focused on global/regional issues of water, urbanization, energy and climate change.

Founded, grew, and directed organization from start-up to an annual $1million budget; managed staff (with offices in Washington and New York, China and India) and worked with board of directors and advisors to develop and implement strategic vision and plan; secured funding through foundational grants, corporate giving, individual donors, alumni support, annual events, and tuition; cultivated and maintained key relationships with collaborative partners and schools, including student participants from over 100 public and private high schools nationally; developed and managed Collaborative School Programs, Educator Forums, Semester and Gap Year Programs in coordination with Program Directors – including curricula, promotion, recruitment, travel logistics, instructor training, risk management; ensured legal compliance on city, state, federal levels – including 501c3 status, State Corporations and Charities, Labor & Industry, Directors & Officers Liability, insurance coverage; managed technology: website, newsletters, QuickBooks, Constant Contact; taught global studies and Asia-related, accredited academic and experiential courses to university, high school and gap year students in field, including individual study projects and service.

Co-authored Understanding China in the 21st Century: Political, Economic, and Security Issues in the Asia/Pacific Region, SPICE, Stanford University, 1995. Researched US-Sino relations in areas of human rights, media, security, trade, environment, APEC, and ASEAN to introduce issues to educators.

Directed China Media Project, a comparative analysis of U.S. newspaper reports on the NGO Forum and United Nations’ World Conference on Women, held in Beijing, China; participated in conference as coordinator, facilitator, translator, and guide for International Women’s Leadership Council’s delegation of 60 members from 28 countries.

Under contract with the Chinese Ministry of Education, designed and taught courses in U.S./Chinese Media, Journalism, Debate and Public Speaking, American Culture; lectured at university assemblies; counseled Chinese students; and operated effectively under challenging bureaucratic, political and environmental conditions.
