Hi! I am so happy you stopped by! My name is Carey (Rhone) Smith and I’m a 2nd Gen Realtor! My home town is Bloomsburg, PA. Born and raised. Let me start from the beginning! I was in college. Had no idea what I wanted to do. I worked at a local bank and was getting married. After our wedding, I bounced around the idea of following in my mom’s footsteps and becoming a Realtor. I decided to take the pre-licensing classes. I successfully completed those classes (while 8 months pregnant SAY WHAT)! Then passed my state exam and was ready to rock and roll! For the first year, I stayed home with my newborn, studied the world of real estate and did the marketing for my moms listings. This was my way to get my foot in the door. After that first year, I continued to practice for 10 more years (and had two more babies)! With three babies, I decided to take some time off. So I stayed home with my kiddos. Then went to work at a local hospital. My husband and I kept discussing when I would return to the real estate world. Finally , the time had come. I came back in 2017 and hit the ground running and have NOT looked back! My first six months back into business, I sold over 3 million in real estate. Since then, I’ve worked hard to build my business, have been a top producer in my office every year. In 2020, after A LOT of hard work, I was honored to be named the Central Susquehanna Valley Board of Realtors (CSVBR) Realtor of the Year! This is such an honor and was so surprising. Something I will cherish forever. I truly love this business and helping every client with their American Dream! I also love teaching and helping out my fellow Realtors. I am very involved in my community, on social media and with Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR). I love what I do EVERY SINGLE DAY!
