Worked with various age groups and disabilities as an Art Therapist. Researched and developed ways to engage with clients to express themselves. Used painting and sculpture media for individuals as a means for communication. For example,I would put a large piece of paper between me and a client and invite the person to make a mark, then I would make a mark. Back and forth this would repeat until we had a complete visual converstion. With a young boy who could not see, hear, or speak, we would use clay to make shapes. I showed him how to touch his face to mimic those contours on the clay. The resemblance to him was uncanny,
