I co-lead Racial Equity Initiatives at the Cuyahoga County Department of Development, coordinating a Racial Equity Report after the declaration of racism as a public health crisis in 2020. The report highlighted initiatives being lead by 5 pilot agencies throughout the county.

I was chosen as a candidate for the National Urban Fellow's 2020 Inaugural Class at Georgetown University where I successfully completed a Master in Policy Management through the McCourt School of Public Policy with 27 other students.

Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area

As a National Urban Fellow working at The Cleveland Foundation I focused my research on the impacts Climate Change had on disinvested communities in two specific neighborhoods in Cleveland with the hopes of diving into the intersection of philanthropy, public policy and environmental justice. My research lead to my capstone project submitted as a National.

As a Program Officer working for LISC I was given then opportunity to manage over $250,000 in Creative Placemaking work in 3 Indianapolis Urban Neighborhoods as well as manage over $300,000 in LISC's Small Business Facade grant program. Through the Facade program I was able to build relationships with local community development organizations and business.

Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida Area

My time as a community organizer allowed me to truly connect my values to a career pathway after my graduation from Indiana University (IU). I was able to organize Justice Ministries in over 10 congregations in Pinellas County, FL. One of my proudest accomplishments here was being able to organize over 800 people to attend the Annual Nehemiah Action where.

During my time in Dayton, OH I was able to attend a 7- week virtual training program to learn basic 1:1 skills as well as relationship building skills. I was able to manage and supervise 5 congregations in the Dayton area to strengthen their respective justice ministries to implement policy changes to better serve their communities.

I worked as a Resident Assistant as a sophomore and senior at IU Bloomington where I was able to manage 32 college students through organizational and public speaking skills. Through this experience I was able to sharpen teamwork, time and project management skills while collaborating with 11 other Resident Assistants in a residence hall housing over 600.

Thanks to my work study granted during my undergraduate journey at IU - Bloomington I was able to provide supervision and instruction support in a classroom serving 18 children between the ages of 3-6 years. I also conducted parent outreach through school activities.
