With over two decades of experience in the audio space, I bring a wealth of expertise and creativity to every project. I know great tape when I hear it and I think in sound, from interview and scriptwriting, through to the final mix.I have developed podcasts for American Public Television and PBS, I was co-host and producer of the award-winning podcast Neighbors (Nashville Public Radio), and my production work has been featured by NPR, The Goethe Institut, and Transom.org, among other outlets. In fact, I love telling stories so much, I once re-lived my most embarrassing moment for an episode of This American Life.In addition to writing and production, years of musical training have given me a keen ear for sound-design. Whether I am enhancing my own reporting, or creating a unique sonic fingerprint for podcast and radio clients, I bring a sound-rich sensibility to all of my work. I am highly skilled at making the right audio choices to support a story, immersing listeners in both narrative journalism and inspiring conversation. My music has appeared in film and television, and after the release of my 2nd album Rolling Stone Magazine dubbed me, “Joni Mitchell by way of Broad City.” Though these days, I prefer pointing my microphone in the other direction, making stories about the ties that bind us together, pull us apart, and connect us to the world. I have a B.A. in songwriting from Berklee College of Music and am a graduate of the Transom Story Workshop.
