Mr. Joseph R Chatt Jr is a dynamic entrepreneur exercising as President of CBX Global and Chairman of the BOD holding company.Joe was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on April, 1967. He graduated in 1986 from Electronics at the Vocational School Salvador Fuentes in Ramey AFB, Aguadilla, PR and proceeded to work in the Family Trucking Company called on those days “Caribe Express”. He started in the equipment maintenance department servicing all the equipment's. Shortly after he change his responsibility to work in the Traffic segment of the company, After acquiring the necessary experience in that area he decided to move in to the sales and development area. During the years, many opportunities a raised to diversify the company and add additional Logistics services. He was involved in many projects like the implementation of a daily all cargo flight between Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, a service with great success. That gave the company the opportunity to develop the full scope of freight forwarding services in the company. An event that Joe was involved since the beginning, providing every service from Warehousing, Air Cargo, Ocean Cargo and others. Said that, the implementation of all those additional services, multiple trainings and many seminars gave Joe multiple skill in the Creation, Development and Management Industry.Now with over 32 years of experience, multiple locations and having under his supervision over 200 direct and indirect employees. Joe classifies himself as an excellent Entrepreneur and Manager, with skills on different areas like; Executive Management, Business Development, Domestic and International Forwarding, Logistics, Legal, Human Resources, Sales, Operations Management, Government Incentives, DOT, FMC, US Customs Compliance and Bonds, TSA, BASC, Retail & Distribution, 3PL, VMI among others.Not only that, Joe also gets involved and dedicates time to help others. Providing some of his time and knowledge to bring happiness and support to the less fortunate. For the past 12th years, he has been creating an activity called La Vieja Belen, a Non-profit activity that is focus on giving happiness to others. Yearly he organizes a group of volunteers to create a special occasion activity on a chosen low-income area of Dominican Republic. An activity that helps between 500 to 1,000 kids per year.Today, after many changes in the company’s name he maintains himself as the principal stockholder and director of the company, a task with daily changes and multiple challenges.
