About Cari Hobbs Otd, Otr/L
Hello. My name is Cari Hobbs. I am a recent graduate from Northern Arizona University's Phoenix Biomedical Campus with my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy. I served on the executive board for the Student Occupational Therapy Association as the Public Relations Chair. Through this doctorate program, I also was an active member of a research team looking at assessment tools that measure executive function for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and experienced a wide variety of fieldwork settings and program development in the following settings: after school program for children with disabilities, community based mental health, assisted living facility for adults with disabilities, hospital acute care for adults, and outpatient pediatric clinic.I am organized, detail-oriented, dedicated and compassionate. I strive to be the best I can be and continuously put all my effort into all that I do. These qualities have allowed me to be successful in my education and support me to become an educated, passionate, practice scholar in the field of occupational therapy. When I am not investing into my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family. I value friendships, supporting others, and meaningful interactions.
