Baptism by fire is what I am used to as an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive. Projects, goals, and deadlines are what motivate and inspire me. Though I graduated from UCSB with a BA in communication, I never had formal fashion design nor business training. I consider myself a very hands on, capable, ambitious woman and led my fashion house to its seven million dollar revenue, 92 placement on consumer reports, and placement on INC magazine's top privately owned fastest growing companies. After designing a top made from men's underwear, the fashion brand, Wild Cherry, as well as my career in fashion was born. Known for innovative designs such as The Underwear Top, The Sock Top and the first street-wearable female rash-guard, Wild Cherry became a company to watch.  My designs have been on front pages and centerfolds of many fashion magazines as well as on television shows, and celebrities such as Aaliyah, En Vogue, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston, Teri Hatcher and many more.*Company vision, direction and design were part of my large duties in addition to developing five collections each year, storyboarding, casting,  and styling every photo shoot, over seeing every aspect of design from concept to creation working with pattern makers, sample makers, my production team, and sales force. Trend forecasting, identifying and creating. Personal appearances as well as Major buyer meetings and private label development.*Starting on the ground floor of each company was the best education I have had. A person learns what each job requires and develops a respect and understanding of every phase from concept to result.

I am passionate about finding the perfect elements that when worn together embody and express a person's individualism whether for print, a character in pictures, or for a woman's lifestyle or "Style-Life", as I like to call it.I loved creating unique looks that did just that for both celebrities & brands. Clients included celebrities Lauren Holly and Juliette Lewis and companies like Honda and Buffalo Jeans just to name a few.

Assisted 1st AD, oversaw set; crew & cast, directed talent to departments in timely manner, created call sheets and turn around times with regard for rules & regulations
