I set and manage the annual budget of this increasingly ambitious and successful professional membership association as part of a Steering Group of volunteer officers

I am responsible for developing and enhancing the learning, teaching and assessment practices of the university through my strategic leadership of our curriculum framework and our Learning Design Framework to ensure the provision of engaging, inclusive and interactive learning spaces for students facilitated by confident and innovative teachers.My responsibilities include:- Collaborating effectively with Heads of Academic Department, course teams, learning technologists, learning designers and other colleagues in the scoping, creating, writing and testing of pedagogically sound, innovative, accessible and inclusive learning content for staff and students - Promoting, supporting and evaluating effective and inclusive learning spaces for students in all forms of provision, including impact on students - Leading institutional direction in the development and use of the Virtual Learning Environment as an inclusive learning space - Leading the strategic integration of digital capabilities for staff and students to ensure students are prepared for a modern, digitally enabled workplace - Designing and developing effective and engaging CPD resources for staff, to ensure a high standard of learning and teaching, including L&T induction - Equipping academics to evaluate the effectiveness of their inclusive learning, teaching and assessment practices
