During my time at H&M as a Lead Sales Advisor, I served as leader in promoting best practices to prioritize customer experiences and ensure all touch points in the customer journey were met by our sale's associates. As lead, I would help train new employees and ensure all customer touch points are met during the entire customer journey from the initial hello to the promotion of our sustainability program and new rewards program. As part of promoting our new rewards program, I was also responsible for the tracking of customer sign-ups, making sure the store met their goal each day.

During the 2018-2019 season, I was responsible for maintaining the team's social media accounts and responsible for the team's brand and image. • Sigma Kappa Sorority
    Vice President Of Educational Programs
Sigma Kappa Sorority Jan 2017 - May 2018
    Carmel, Indiana, Us
During my time as Vice President of Educational Programming, I functioned as a member of the Sigma Kappa executive board, working with the chapter advisor executing collaborative decisions to ensure the success of the chapter’s standards of excellence. My primary role was developing and presenting essential topics to the chapter bi-weekly. This included developing a year-long calendar of engaging programs and working with community and campus organization leaders to execute those programs. As VPP, I gained essential leadership skills and project management skills. I also learned to work cross-functionally with community partners and campus organizations to ensure the success of my programs. In addition, I also oversaw the chapter’s committee system, developing best practices for the committees and ensuring all concerns were met, and all tasks were being completed on time. With this responsibility, I learned how to delegate tasks and track the progress of those tasks. I also gained essential management skills in the process. For one of my more extensive programs, I researched better energy-saving practices for the Sigma Kappa sorority by performing an energy bill analysis and presenting it to the chapter. To ensure the success of this project, I partnered with the Ecology Action Center, utilized their existing energy audit dashboard, and used excel to calculate the correct quantitative metrics to visualize in the report. Some example metrics include the average amount of kilowatt energy used monthly by the girls living in the sorority house. This project also functioned as an academic research project.

As a Sustainability Intern, I assisted the organization's director in research projects and outreach programs. I also worked alongside our Energy Consultant and learned how to perform an energy bill analysis. A large project I worked on during this internship was analyzing the success of the Household Hazardous Waste event. I designed a survey that was distributed to all the event participants and gathered over 200 quantitative metrics. I utilized excel in turning those metrics into actionable insights. To do this, I used SPSS to run statistical outputs that I later visualized using Microsoft Powerpoint. I presented the report to the director, and the research was shared with the event organizers to aid in planning the next event. My research was also published on the organization's site, and a hard copy was available to the organization's members. I also conducted preliminary research on ways the organization can better serve underrepresented populations ofBloomington-Normal. Although this research was never finalized due to time constraints, I provided secondary research findings to the organization director, who later used those findings to target these populations when developing marketing strategies specifically. I was able to utilize my native proficiency in Spanish to target the Hispanic people of the community by creating Spanish marketing materials.
