Participating in SETE project for the construction of 03 new builts drilling units in Brazil.In Brazil, responsible for the QHSE Operations Preparations for the 03 new builts, that will be operating on Brazilian waters. Providing general advisory regarding Brazilian QHSE Legislations and QHSE training, towards the project; Assisting with general advisory on QHSE audits and/or inspections conducted by Brazilian Regulatory Bodies; etc.

Among the regular daily basis of an QHSE manager, I have participated of the preparation to receive the vessel in Brazil, travelling to Bergen, Singapore and South Africa. Also participated of the importation of the unit to Brazil providing adequate HSE legal compliance; Vessel obtained great audit reports from regulations bodies for the acceptance to work in Brazilian waters, i.e. Ibama, Anvisa, ANP, etc.

Developed Tasks: Development, revision and implementation of QHSE guidelines, procedures, and identification of areas for improvement according to QHSE Management Systems;Coordination of the occupational health and safety activities assigned with staff and contractors to ensure compliance with Operations objectives, policies and procedures, within area of responsibility;Planning and implementation of HSE protection and emergency strategies, emergency response plans, inspections and audits, coordination with on-site contractors and enforcement of Permit to Work Systems;Communication of QHSE objectives, results and successes to internal and external parties;Development and implementation of HSE campaigns;On-site training and general HSE training supervision;Link between company's upper management and client for HSE related items; Participated in project abroad (Houston) developing HSE system for a corporation level; Participated in ISM internal audits in Brazil and abroad. Participation during drydocking period for FPSO Seillean in 2003 and 2008, in Brazilian shipyard;Participated of exportation of the vessel from Brazil to GOM and start up project in GOM.
