My professional journey has spanned Europe and Asia, allowing me to connect with diverse teams, audiences and adapt to very diverse contexts. At the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS), I work at the Centre of Expertise with great joy, focusing on urban, cultural and social justice issues. My role involves developing international programming, EU fundraising, and building civic partnerships to foster new knowledge and networks across and within cities.In my freelance role at ArtEZ, I am dedicated to developing educational and research platforms for the Professorship in Music Therapy & Interventions. Previously, I worked for five years as the Director (Growth & Development) at a leading universities of the arts in the Netherlands. Here, I initiated and supported cutting-edge Master degree programs in Art, Design and Social Change.From 2000 to 2015, I Co-Directed an international consultancy practice in India, supporting over 150 foreign private companies and research institutions in their India market entry strategies, including guiding partnerships and establishing new legal entities. Our office officially represented the Canadian Province of British Columbia's Department of Investment, Technology, Tourism, and Innovation, organizing high-level trade missions for government officials, corporate leaders, universities, research centers, cultural organizations, and chambers of commerce.At Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUAS), where I served as Sr. Lecturer/Researcher/Program Lead for a decade, I was involved in designing and managing the international Tourism Destination Development program. This role allowed me to contribute to the international classroom experience, supervising on-site research in Europe and across Asia, including Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, India, Vietnam, and beyond. The program challenges conventional thinking about tourism, local impacts, sustainability and global affairs, preparing students from over 20 nationalities for future challenges, with 30% of the learning taking place outside Europe.
