I have 20 years of experience in fashion buying and merchandising and having experience in stores and on the manufacturing and buying side of the fashion industry has given me great insight in what it takes to run a successful team and achieve sales results.My leadership skills have helped me motivate and inspire teams to run multiple successful businesses and I am most proud of the relationships I have built over the last 20 years. Some of my proudest accomplishments include:Business owner: Moxie Boutique. Partnered with the University of Delaware where I had over 25 interns who received college credit for interning at Moxie. They learned fashion buying and planning and went to market in NYC. I was the chair of Downtown Newark Partnership where we partnered with city leaders to plan all Newark events.Amerex Group: Managed over 50 small to large accounts focused on building relationships, working to achieve desired margins and negotiating costs. Traveled to retailers to bring on new accounts and worked with existing accounts to be their expert in trend analysis and influence them to buy the right products for their customers.Target: Managed over 50 team members and leaders across the district. District trainer and expert merchandiser. Traveled to multiple stores to train and re-merchandise their style floorpads. Proud to be a global leader and a key contributor to achieving sales goals.
