I thrive in roles that are rooted in community growth and development. As a college student, I found fulfillment through my role as a Resident Advisor and worked my way up to a Community Advisor where I had the responsibility of training and leading a team of RAs. After graduation, I found my passion for teaching while working at a summer school for students in special education in Camden, New Jersey through Teach for America. After nearly a decade of teaching, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to gain experience with a variety of age groups, spanning from 2nd to 5th grade. I have also worked in a public and private school setting and witnessed the pros and cons of both. I am excited to take the skills I've mastered as an educator and challenge myself in a new field.
