Currently in my new role as a Program Specialist at Texas A&M University’s College of Engineering, I will focus on retention and success programs for first-generation engineering students, with an emphasis on creating equitable opportunities for underserved and low-income communities. Previously, as Assistant Director and Liaison to the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering at Kansas State University, I leveraged my expertise in academic coaching and career development to connect students with industry-leading employers. Career services has always been my passion, enabling me to lead workshops, drive initiatives, and build partnerships that foster career readiness.Collaboration defines my approach. I work closely with advisors, faculty, and stakeholders to deliver tailored support for engineering students. My diverse background in healthcare, sales, and the military has refined my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, allowing me to connect with students from all walks of life.As a military veteran, non-traditional student, and first-generation college graduate, I am dedicated to supporting students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they have access to opportunities for academic and professional growth.
