Member of small, core team that provides support for the implementation and success of live events at MPR’s UBS Forum that have as many as 150 attendees. Full time temporary position scheduling all of the underwriting and promos in every air break for 11 stations in the MPR radio network. Assigned copy, processed orders, liaised with account executives to ensure underwriters were happy with their spot placements.

Manage the logistics of the scheduled talent to the MPR booth at the state fair. Support the operations of the live stage event and broadcast.

Directed 40 on-air DJ’s and 14 staff members of the federally licensed and FCC regulated station. Set and evaluated station objectives; made staff assignments, arranged and conducted meetings, and recruited new on-air staff. Coordinated local and taped programming schedule and daily traffic of mail/messages, and collaborated with music directors and promoters.Planed and led weekly staff meetings with 14 attendees and monthly all staff meetings with 45-60 attendees. Designed and executed station re-brand through the creation of refreshed public image, logo, and renovation of office space. Created, marketed, and executed the first annual “KWLC Block Party” a live music event with over 200 guests. MC’d the event which featured three bands and was live broadcasted with both a regional and global audience. Served on the student advisory group in the hiring of a new faculty manager. Instrumental in the facilitation of the resulting transition period providing institutional knowledge and advice to the new faculty.Spent over 350 hours on air as a DJ and contributed as a guest to various talk shows.

Coordinated and assigned writers. Wrote and edited reviews and articles. Constructed and performed layout in Adobe InDesign. Contributed writing to the college newspaper "Chips", and KWLC's blog.

Planned and executed 30 minute interview with members of Luther College administration or faculty. Examples of past guest include former interim college president David Tiede and political science professor John Moeller. Produced and edited interview for air in Adobe Audition.

Hosted weekly trivia event that drew over 60 attendees. Promoted event through the use of Facebook and other social media. Grew brand to the point that we were consistently filling to capacity our host venue.

Gathered data through digital, in person and phone interviews with officials on the 95 towns in proximity to Decorah. Recommend towns that provided potential matches with the services of the Initiative in mind to create a program similar to Iowa State Extensions or University of Iowa Initiative for Sustainable Communities.

Managed team of 20 student workers at the Luther College cafeteria. Interfaced and communicated between full time staff and student workers. Resolved both external customer complaints and internal work conflicts.

Worked in food prep, as a server, and in the dish room at the Luther College Cafeteria.
