I have over 30 years experience behind the camera. I am currently based out of Golden, Colorado, just outside of Denver. I would love to split my time between Japan and the US, creating photographs that people around the world would love to have hung on their walls at home and work. For the last 10+ years I have been photographing for various wire services, transmitting live images from events. I have experience with team photography from youth leagues, to high school and NCAA.I have regularly shot for Icon SMI, Corbis Images, Zuma Press, and MaxPreps, covering high schools, NCAA schools, professional clubs, and Olympic level athletics.I am capable of single day, multiple day, and ongoing contract shoots. I am available now and can transmit images onsite from most locations. I utilize Canon DSLR equipment and portable strobes.I am very interested in becoming a team or school sports information photographer. I have experience shooting for high school, booster clubs, including end of season slideshows, and senior gifts. I have also been a back up photographer for a NCAA division two program. I also have experience with large groups of youth athletes providing team and individual photos as well as action photos for a little league, baseball and softball organization with over 40 teams and well over 700 athletes. My ideal job would be as a team photographer for a minor league baseball team, a Division 1 college, or pro sports franchise, or work with a team in the Japanese Baseball League. I am currently learning Japanese. Please visit my website to learn more about the guy behind the camera at http://carlauerphoto.com/about/
