• Supervised and coordinated plant personnel in daily activities to ensure the Production Plan is met and all EH&S standards and Safe Operating Procedures were adhered to. The number of personnel supervised varied between 5-10 over three functions (Production, Quality Control & Maintenance)• Diagnosed/Troubleshooted operating/equipment issues with a view to improve productivity and reduce processing time, with an outlook for continual plant/process improvements• Immediate Response Leader – Required to attend to emergency or plant situations, obtaining addition resources as required for a speedy and safe resolution to the situation• Safe Work Permits – Issued work permits for maintenance staff and carried out on-site inspections before and during work being carried out. Supervised maintenance work in progress to ensure that safe procedures were adhered to and that all completed work was satisfactory. Carried out return to operations checks on all work completed to ensure it was safe and ready for use • Plant Preparation for maintenance, Carried out all plant isolations to energy sources (pressure, chemical, electrical, mechanical, etc.) to ensure equipment is safe to work on• First point of contact for other functions (Supply Chain, Planning, etc.) to assign resources, equipment to meet the production plan and to prioritise as necessary.

• Responsible for the safe operation of Plant machinery and to ensure Process technicians work met EH&S standards and they followed Safe operating Procedures• Responsible for the training of Technicians in all three areas of the Production Plant• Ensure Production Plan was completed without compromising quality and safety and continual improvements to the Right First Time goals
