My main objective was to deliver business value through quality execution of my team’s BSA deliverables. I continuously improved my team’s capabilities through coaching, skill development, and process improvement. I also led and supported process improvement initiatives involving Project Management, Software Delivery (agile and waterfall), resource allocation, skills management, and budget forecasting/variance. I cultivated and maintained positive and constructive relationships with business people, project managers, build, test and run team managers and members, and other stakeholders. I have technical depth to meaningfully interact with design, architecture, and technical teams. I have a history with a very diverse set of people, systems, and lessons learned that I can share with others. I was selected to be in one of several agile teams in a large agile based project. My team worked on introducing new mobile, web, and virtual agent technologies to Xerox. Actively participated in all agile activities; Drafted and groomed user stories interactively with business and technical stakeholders. Created and deployed tools and processes to all of the project agile teams, developed and presented agile training materials to Xerox people who were not familiar with agile. Early adopter and administrator of StoryTeller, a business/process tool. Developed and presented Storyteller training to all agile teams. Supported integration between Storyteller and Jira.

Supported BSA deliverables for a variety of Xerox supplies/toner related systems. Focus was to deploy and improve algorithms to determine the optimal time to automatically ship supplies directly to customers. Systems were located in multiple geographies and supported multiple business units. Dependent on tight integration with GoTo Market, Contract, and Supply Chain systems and also data sourced from end customer devices. Supported customer supplies portal on xerox.com.

Managed the deployment and follow-up releases of a field service application to the US and Canada. The highly complex application depended on multiple integration points and subsystems to gather input data and execute an algorithm to automatically schedule field service events.

Supported BSA deliverables for field services applications.

Managed a team of developers supporting a group of business engagements. Included Project and cost management activities. Activities included communications and marketing integration hub concepts to Xerox IM and business units.

Wrote original publish/subscribe service software to re-use integration services for multiple business units, Also wrote integration template software for reuse by other developers. Focus was to encapsulate legacy mainframe system for unix and Windows clients.

Wrote voice recognition software to support directory assistance services. Application was written on a proprietary object oriented telephony platform and deployed to Bell South.

- I wrote Windows based applications enabling Xerox salespeople to automate manual processes. Applications written include a Lease Buyout Tool and an interactive Xerox product configurator. I also wrote the integration layer for an application which allowed Xerox salespeople to generate agreements online and then to automatically submit orders into Xerox legacy systems.- Developed integration software between unix based Customer Admin systems and Xerox legacy. Also maintained and expanded an integration software API. Wrote several custom unix-based UI screens that interacted in real time with legacy systems.

Supported students, staff, and faculty to use IBM and Apple products. I taught classes, consulted, and solved software and hardware problems.

Supported salespeople and customers to use IBM, Apple, and other microcomputer related products. I taught classes, consulted, and solved software and hardware problems. Tracked salesperson metrics in Lotus 123.

Sold various microcomputer products. Also wrote some BASIC and dbase II programs.
