Currently employed as a Railway Telecommunications supervisor for Linbrooke Services, building upon previous experiences to manage the delivery of safety critical telecoms installations on the Rail infrastructure. Responsible for the execution of large installation projects, duties include team leading, Organisation and delivery of materials, collection of test data as a lead tester, field adaptation reports, dissemination of telecoms design paperwork, safe system work packs. Also the mentoring of junior engineering staff, overseeing works is done to a very high standard and other activities associated with the daily running of a field telecoms installation team. Most recent supervisor projects:· West Hampstead resignalling, this included fibre terminations (Joints, ODS, ODF 1U Patch panels, Bops, wide variety of fibre installations) and testing from the EXFO 200, Copper terminations included Cat5, 2 pair, 10 pair and 50 pair copper terminations,(joints, MDF,s, DC cabs, BOP’s wide variety of telecoms work).· ECML Tunnels mobile reception, this project was 432 ribbon Fibre, ODF’s, wall mounted joints both normal and spliceless, 48 ribbon patch panels and testing from EXFO 200.

Working all across the United Kingdom delivering Telecoms solutions to the Rail Industry. Utilising knowledge acquired from working within a professional environment to install, joint, terminate and test Fibre Optic cables to the high standards required by Rail Customers including Network Rail, Thales, Atkins, May Gurney, Manchester Metro, Skanska and Avensis. Responsible in the field for OTDR testing and analysis, fault finding and cable surveying, responsible for their training and site safety. Experience has also been gained working with telecoms systems that utilise copper cable transmission. These skills include jointing and terminating copper telecoms cables along with installing cat5 & cat6 data points to be used with customer information displays and safety critical CCTV systems at Railway Stations. All of these skills are practiced to a high standard, predominantly in a Railway environment but could easily be transferred to other industries as customer requirements dictate.
