• Responsible for leading a staff of seven and guiding the visitor services, education and community relations departments. Developed and managed new programs to engage Chicago’s West Side community in the Conservatory.
• Launched the Chicago Home Composting Program that included a Master Composter volunteer training, five demonstration gardens in community partner sites, and a compost bin distribution program reaching thousands of.
• Developed and taught the first Organic Master Gardener program in collaboration with Illinois Cooperative Extension Service.
