Responsible for managing current operations and business development for the Training and Logistics Services Division of PD Systems LLC.

Deputy to the VP/GM of the PD Systems Training and Logistics Services Division (TLSD). Responsible for ongoing operations supporting multiple contracts including customers from the U.S. Army, Coast Guard, and the State of Virginia. Leads the Division Business Development effort of capture planning, teaming, and associated activities designed to maintain a robust pipeline to future work.

In Business Development role, develops and executes strategies pertaining to new business identification, teaming arrangements, capture management, and proposal writing.

Current operations and business development duties. Oversee contract(s) with a focus on Sustainment Center of Excellence Instructor and Training Support Services for Fort Lee, VA. Duties include supporting the execution of multiple task orders at the Army Logistics University, Quartermaster School, and Ordnance School. In business development role, develops and executes strategies pertaining to new business identification, teaming arrangements, and proposal writing.

Earned special recognition (stock options) for delivering “Best in Class” operational and financial results during first year with the company. Accepted an assignment to turn around a distressed store team and accomplished dramatic improvements within twelve months. Recognized with the annual “Peer Leader” award, as determined by twelve fellow managers. Selected by the Group leadership to participate in Strategic Enhancement Training designed to prepare talented store managers for the next level of leadership.

Demonstrate mastery in written and verbal communications skills. Implement strategic communications and outreach priorities to insure maximum support to the Army's legislative agenda. Arrange and facilitate high-level meetings with Senior leadership and Members of Congress. Act as the primary project manager for congressional delegations to visit Army units in the United States, Europe, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Collaborate with country teams and protocol leaders to insure efficient execution of an effective and meaningful agenda. Integrate security priorities while maintaining important substance even in the most dangerous environments.

Led a team of fifty, experienced Soldiers in creating a new, 2500-man Iraqi Armored Brigade from the ground up. In less than one year, my team fielded all organizational and personal equipment while simultaneously training and advising the Iraqi leaders and their subordinate units. Met or exceeded planned timelines while delivering a combat unit ready to meet all performance standards. Published an article in a professional journal that is now used in training future advisers.

Perform duties as a small group instructor and course director for the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course (CLC3). Prepare and revise instructional and training materials to keep pace with Army Modernization. Assess training support needs and documents to insure key enablers are in place. Incorporate new threat doctrine into instruction while providing technical advice on Army Training and Education to the Department Director. Overcome institutional inertia and provide students with a more accurate picture of the enemy they will face in the contemporary operational environment. Lead and inspire peers and supervisors to adopt new training programs.

Plan, coordinate, and execute a rapid expansion of the current operations team to reflect fundamental changes to capabilities requirements following the attacks of 9-11. Integrate technical expertise with practical requirements to support teams in managing current operations. Revise and re-published a Crisis Management SOP while leading a 20-person office in support of the global war on terror. Develop and implement crisis action plans and contingency communication plans with outside civilian and military organizations. Prepare and submit unfunded requirements to compete for scarce out-of-cycle funding.

Course Director for the core American Politics course. Supervised the activities of 11 instructors to ensure consistent instruction to over 500 students per semester.
