Achievements include:• Managed the research equipment procurement for the new UK Battery Innovation Centre (UKBIC) on behalf of Coventry City Council (CCC), completed 8 tenders and supported a further 2 projects to the value of £61m, savings in the region of £2m, ensuring compliance whilst embracing innovation. This had the added complexity of bringing together the University of Warwicks and CCC requirements and governance to deliver the projects.• Managed the Advanced Characterisation of Metals using Analytical Microscopy Procurement Project achieving savings of £1.5m over the 15 year life of the equipment. This was made into a case study for the HE sector.• Managed the Facilities Management Procurement Project for NAIC achieving a saving of £429k over three years.• Completed an OJEU tender to provide spend analysis to the FE Sector which realised savings of £3m.
