Experienced Global Manager with a demonstrated history of delivering multi-million-dollar projects in the oil & energy industry. Skilled in Fuels Retail Technology & Card Payment systems, SAP implementations, Trading systems and Vendor Management. After working for ExxonMobil for 30 years, I retired in November 2021 and setup my own management consultancy company. I am currently working as a consultant in the role of Programme Manager for the International Forecourt Standards Forum (IFSF) where I am responsible for the management of the organisation and chairing the board of directors meetings. I spent the first 10 years of my career with ExxonMobil working on a variety of IT Infrastructure related projects including implementing Local Area Networks (LAN), Email systems, Intranet servers and Internet gateways. I quickly progressed from an individual contributor to a team lead and then to supervisor of European teams. Over the next 17 years, I worked in a variety of European and Global IT Project Management, Program Management and Vendor Management roles for the Fuels Retail Business where I was responsible for managing budgets in excess of $100 Million. In these roles, I helped to develop the Retail Technology strategy and deliver new cards acquiring and issuing systems as well as innovative new value propositions such as mobile payment and digital loyalty solutions. For the last 3 years of my career with ExxonMobil, I was on assignment in the USA as the Global Program Manager for Supply & Trading. In this role I managed the implementation of the new Trading & Risk Management systems for ExxonMobil worldwide.
