Having worked for some of the best and most-respected engineering firms since leaving school, I have a wealth of knowledge, design expertise and practical understanding of all areas of engineering, design and the manufacturing process.I have a passion for sustainable solutions within manufacturing and driving innovation for the future. In addition to traditional methods, I primarily create designs that can use additive processes and my company creates both plastic and metal 3D print solutions for various industries; new product development and parts for historic vehicles.Helping out friends and colleagues with bespoke projects, I realised that there was a need for hobbyists to be able to access industry-level solutions. I created parts which were no longer available; designed bespoke workarounds and re-engineered existing parts. In so doing, I enabled historic vehicles to remain on the road; helped DIYers to create a tool that wasn’t available and gave a new lease of life to a variety of vintage machinery.When I was approached to create 3D print designs for an international company as their team didn’t have the expertise to do so, I realised that there was a need for a company to deliver such services! I joined forces with two other specialist engineers and Avon Engineering Services Ltd was born. We deliver comprehensive design and mechanical engineering services that provide solutions not only for large corporations but also for individuals such as hobbyists or vintage vehicle enthusiasts.
