The enterprise I am running -- my freelance writing and music composition adventure -- has been undergoing some interesting changes. The editorial division is now mostly run in a separate location from the the music creation wing of the company. Editorial is primarily created in the alcove off of the kitchen, while much of the music activity takes place adjacent to the grand piano in the living room of the company's facilities in Tennessee (my house). The board of directors (only consisting of two canine members) meets just outside the back door of the house on the outside deck near the two doghouses. During inclement weather, the board adjourns to the hay-filled shed by the back fence. (There are rumors afoot that during these prolonged conferences in the shed, snoring can be heard. But those rumors have not been confirmed.)In the midst of these developments, Carl, the generally recognized head of the organization, is still working far too many hours, spending too much time on the computer and occasionally working out melodies on guitar or fiddle at inopportune moments. And getting to bed too late when the music bug bites him and won't relent.As circumstances change, new information about the structure of the organization may or may not be posted here.
