With over 20 years experience working solely in the catering industry, as a classically trained chef and hands on development in to a retail management professional.The skills learnt and developed in the kitchen environments early in my career provided me with the ideal springboard to commence a front of house senior role for Serco. It was really this position within my time working for Serco as a FTSE100 company, that I developed my management and strategic skills within a global organisation. Accountable for the retail business with turnover in excess of £2m.The latest venture has managed to provide me with a more demanding hands on business approach with the implementing of a Cafe Brand as a shareholder and Genreal Manager of the business. In the 4 years of operation I have seen the business Increase revenue by over 200% and developed an above average net margin for this retail sector.
