My experience as Master is primarily on container vessels since 1998. From 2001 I sailed as permanent Master on several container vessels up to 2018 on a Back to Back rotational basis serving 3 months on / off :• Gosport Maersk (4300 TEU) - 2001 to 2005• Maersk Greenock 4800 TEU) – 2005 to 2007. I delivered this vessel from the builder’s yard (HHI).• Maesrk Kinloss (6400 TEU) – 2008 to 2011. I delivered this vessel from the builders yard (Hanjin).• Maersk Luz (8700 TEU) – 2011 to 2012. Delivery team for this vessel as Team B Captain (DSME).• Maersk Laberinto (8700 TEU) – 2012 to 2017. I delivered this vessel from the builders yard (DSME).• Maersk Hanoi (15000 TEU) – 2018. I delivered this vessel from the builders yard (HHI).I enjoy the challenges and additional workload involved in bringing a new-build vessel smoothly into service and have received many favorable comments from Site Managers during the delivery process for my proactive commitment to the projects. As Master I have been involved in several dry-dockings. Most recently I was involved a dry docking and bow modification project in China in February 2018.

I completed my cadet-ship with Safmarine and rose through the ranks to be promoted to Master in June 1998. I have sailed on a wide variety of vessels including General Cargo, Salvage Tug, Supply, Bulk Carriers and Container Ships.
