Job Role/PurposeTeam ObjectiveThe objective of the LSA community is to represent Ddat Services and provide IT Technical Assurance/Support at all 14 offices and to deliver any new services or systems that require to be successfully transitioned into business as usual support. This is achieved by working with other members of Ddat Services Group to deliver the successful resolution of any customer issues to agreed service level standards.How the job holder supports the team existence (Job Role/Purpose)?I support the team objective by effectively managing and supporting the Hull Office and 14 other locations via the IT/Ddat Technical Support Model. I manage all resources within my control (are used efficiently) and that my customers receive an appropriate level of service.I accept responsibility for the service I provide and the delivery of successful resolution of any customer issues.Job Holders Contribution• Ensure effective investigation of assigned requests for support, including adherence to the Incident Management and the ISO 20000 framework 20% - 30%• Ensure that effective technical support is provided for the resolution of all Infrastructure Support related incidents and problems 20% - 30%• Install, configure and administrate application software and components if required 5% - 20%• Ensure that relevant documentation is available and up to date for applications/systems within the teams remit 5%• Use available tools to aid problem diagnosis and resolution 5% • • Maintain IT Service Management guidelines 15%• Participate and provide technical advice and guidance, for IT related projects. Liaise with software vendors / 3rd parties / partners when required and provide technical advice for IT related projects and work packages; within PRINCE 2 and AGILE frameworks 15% • Provide support for the relocation of IT equipment in accordance with all 14 x office requirements.
