Carl is an accomplished Project and Programme Manager within our property sector. He is a qualified Practitioner in both Project and Programme (Prince 2 & MSP).Carl’s key experience is in the setup of PMO’s supplemented by a robust Programme management approach, establishing rigor around our delivery teams. Most recently Carl has lead a team of c20 people delivering a number of programmes worth over £70m. These programmes range from Energy, IT Resilience, and Property Upkeep to Property Resilience. Carl has implemented his programme management approach to successfully complete the 2014 programmes earlier than 2013 and within budget whilst increasing our KPI scores. Carl is a key part of his peer group that is developing training modules to be undertaken in the UK. This follows a trial with a number of colleagues from Asia. The approach is in order to support our growth / drive and increase our peoples understanding around PMO’s. This is the first part of a drive to increase our capabilities to deliver more repeat project programmes.Carl has previously been instrumental in the mobilisation and transition to full delivery of the UK PMO, engaging with key stakeholders such as the retail portfolio manager. Carl’s role was to manage the progression of the mobilisation in addition to completing tasks in his own areas (Project Controls & MI) Carl set up all the project controls to ensure the correct level of governance was in place and developed the MI / reporting allowing the client clear view of the overall programme commercials, key risks and Issues. Carl took ownership of the amalgamation of the data from a manual tracker in to the client’s document / data management system creating efficiencies for both EC Harris & our client. Following this Carl was asked to undertake informal updates with other client stakeholder groups to share the retail success story.
