Serves as Branch Chief for a $37B dollar Foreign Military Sales (FMS) funds distribution program for new case and country funding across 130+ partner nations, with further responsibility for work and certification of funds for assigned teammates within Funds Control Branch. Maintains functional and operational oversight of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command Headquarters security assistance financial programs totaling approximately $240B dollars. Prepares and submits all formal documents associated with employee recruitment, placement, work assignment, position classification, performance standards, training, performance appraisals, awards, labor relations and disciplinary or adverse actions for Funds Control Branch personnel. Plans, directs and coordinates office operations for three separate assigned programs in Funds Control Branch (Funds Distribution, Simplified Non-Standard Acquisition Program (SNAP) and Commercial Repair and Return (Commercial R&R)). While planning and assigning work for teammates, sets and adjusts long and short-term priorities, to include preparing schedules for completion of both routine and mission critical work. Founder of a small law firm specializing in criminal defense, personal injury, business law, risk identification and mitigation strategies, as well as litigation related or required to resolve these matters. Member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association and Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association.
