After four successful years in my position as an Area Sales Manager I was promoted to the sole Key Business Manager for the company which brought more responsibility and a change in my sales focus towards larger and national customers. Key responsibilities as follows.Providing sales, marketing and customer service within London and the Home counties.Distribution of marketing information, brochures and framework agreements.Maintaining links between customers and operations to insure the smooth running of contracts/orders.Insuring our customers are satisfied with our service and resolving any queries or problems.Canvassing and liaising with potential customers in an effort to win business.To increase business within the area and grow customer turnover.

Responsibilities here where as follows.Assisting with management of the depot and customer enquiries.Completing monthly wage spreadsheet for all staff.Managing and developing external servicing department. (Arranging collections, typing up quotes, repairing and returning customers plant promptly).Liaising with the office and workshop.Courses completed.Ego-4 motorised trolley (servicing), Manual rail trolley, Mechanical Jack, Hydraulic Jack, Abrasive Wheels, Stressing Equipment, Cobra MK1 petrol breaker and Cobra TT, Ego-4 motorised trolley driver, Cold bolt expansion training, Radiodetection cat scanner and generator, Personal track safety (PTS), Underground competent person, Portable appliance testing course, Lifting Inspector course. Responsibilities as follows.Maintaining and servicing specialist railway equipment.Working within a team to compete a wide range of manual and administrative tasks.Weekend and evening project works. i.e Assembling/dismantling lighting systems and safety fencing trackside.
